Senior Home Improvement Program (SHIP) provides home repair services for low income, elderly homeowners in Tampa and Hillsborough County. If you are 60 years or older and are in need of:

Non-medical Services - ElderLink Consortium

 
ElderLink Consortium links seniors to in-home, non-medical services to help them continue to live independently in their own homes.

In-home Assessments - Florida BRITE Project

A research program of the State of Florida, the BRITE Project offers free assessment and health education programs for individuals 55 and over (men and women) who may have problems with medication misuse, including prescription, over-the-counter, and "natural" medicines; using  alcohol with medication; and/or alcohol or other substance abuse. These free services can be provided in the privacy of one's own home.
